Desert View & Sunset Tours
Tuesday's schedule included two bus tours. In the morning we boarded a Grand Canyon tour bus for a three-hour trip to the Desert View Watchtower and back, with stops along the way at several scenic Canyon overlooks. Tuesday evening we were back on another Grand Canyon tour bus bound for a lookout point to the west of the South Rim Village where we could watch the sun set behind the far rim of the Canyon. Below are some pictures from those two outings.

Our first scenic stop on the sunset tour. This is a good shot of almost the entire South Rim Village. In the distance are the San Francisco Mountains just north of Flagstaff. The snow-covered peak is Humphreys Peak, the tallest point in Arizona..
